Description Developmentally-regulated GTP-binding protein 1(DRG1) belong to the GTP1/OBG family. It plays a role in cell proliferation and differentiation, as well as in apoptosis, suggesting a role in tumor formation and metastasis. Expression of the DRG1 was significantly reduced in breast tumor cells, particularly in patients with lymph node or bone metastasis as compared to those with localized breast cancer. This protein expressed at high levels in heart, kidney and skeletal muscle and at lower levels in brain, liver, placenta, lung, colon and spleen. Purified by using conventional chromatography techniques. Source: Recombinant corresponding to aa1-367 of human DRG1, fused to His-tag at N-terminal, expressed in E.coli. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for at least 6 months at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
