| Description | DLL3 (Delta-like protein 3; Delta3) inhibits primary neurogenesis. It plays a role in the formation of somite boundaries during segmentation of the paraxial mesoderm. DLL3 binds and activates Notch-1 or another Notch receptor. Defects in DLL3 are the cause of spondylocostal dysostosis type 1 (SCDO1). Source: Recombinant protein corresponding to the extracellular domain of human DLL3 (aa27-466), fused at the N-terminus to a FLAG-Tag. Molecular Weight: ~52kD Endotoxin: <0.01EU/ug (LAL test; Lonza). Storage and Stability: Lyophilized and reconstituted products are stable for 12 months after receipt at -20°C. Reconstitute with sterile ddH2O. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. | ||
