| Description | Jagged-2 is a putative Notch ligand involved in the mediation of Notch signaling, that can induce stromal cells to secrete IL-6, VEGF and IGF-1. Notch activation can interact with NF-κB and C-myc to promote the proliferation and to inhibit the apoptosis of MM cells, showing in the relationship between the incidence of myeloma and drug resistance. Jagged-2 is also involved in limb development. Recombinant protein corresponding to aa1-1054 from human Jagged-2, fused at the C-terminus to the Fc portion of human IgG, expressed in HEK 293 cells. Endotoxin: ≤0.1EU/ug (LAL test, Lonza) Storage and Stability: Lyophilized powder may be stored at -20°C. Stable for 6 months after receipt at -20°C. Reconstitute with sterile ddH2O. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. | ||
