| Description | Expression of proliferating cell nuclear antigen (PCNA) or cyclin or polymerase delta auxiliary protein is elevated in the nucleus during late G1 phase immediately before the onset of DNA synthesis, becoming maximal during S-phase and declining during G2 and M phases. PCNA/cyclin may act as an auxiliary protein of DNA polymerase-d to play a fundamental role in the initiation of cell proliferation. Source: Recombinant protein corresponding to human PCNA, fused to 6x His-tag, expressed in Baculovirus (Sf9 insect cells). Molecular Weight: ~29.8kD Endotoxin: <0.1ng/ug Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. | ||
