Description Pre-mRNA binding protein in vivo, binds avidly to poly(G) and poly(U) RNA homopolymers in vitro. Involved in splicing. Acts as a receptor for carcinobryonic antigen in Kupffer cells, may initiate a series of signaling events leading to tyrosine phosphorylation of proteins and induction of IL-1 alpha, IL-6, IL-10 and tumor necrosis factor alpha cytokines. Source: Recombinant protein corresponding to aa2-730 from human HNRNPM, fused to His-SUMO-Tag at N-terminal, expressed in E. coli. Molecular Weight: ~93.33kD AA Sequence: AAGVEAAAEVAATEIKMEEESGAPGVPSGNGAPGPKGEGERPAQNEKRKEKNIKRGGNRFEPYANPTKRYRAFITNIPFDVKWQSLKDLVKEKVGEVTYVELLMDAEGKSRGCAVVEFKMEESMKKAAEVLNKHSLSGRPLKVKEDPDGEHARRAMQKVMATTGGMGMGPGGPGMITIPPSILNNPNIPNEIIHALQAGRLGSTVFVANLDYKVGWKKLKEVFSMAGVVVRADILEDKDGKSRGIGTVTFEQSIEAVQAISMFNGQLLFDRPMHVKMDERALPKGDFFPPERPQQLPHGLGGIGMGLGPGGQPIDANHLNKGIGMGNIGPAGMGMEGIGFGINKMGGMEGPFGGGMENMGRFGSGMNMGRINEILSNALKRGEIIAKQGGGGGGGSVPGIERMGPGIDRLGGAGMERMGAGLGHGMDRVGSEIERMGLVMDRMGSVERMGSGIERMGPLGLDHMASSIERMGQTMERIGSGVERMGAGMGFGLERMAAPIDRVGQTIERMGSGVERMGPAIERMGLSMERMVPAGMGAGLERMGPVMDRMATGLERMGANNLERMGLERMGANSLERMGLERMGANSLERMGPAMGPALGAGIERMGLAMGGGGGASFDRAIEMERGNFGGSFAGSFGGAGGHAPGVARKACQIFVRNLPFDFTWKMLKDKFNECGHVLYADIKMENGKSKGCGVVKFESPEVAERACRMMNGMKLSGREIDVRIDRNA Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
