Description Splicing factor binding to exonic or intronic sites and acting as either an activator or repressor of exon inclusion. Exhibits a binding preference for CA-rich elements. Component of the heterogeneous nuclear ribonucleoprotein (hnRNP) complexes and associated with most nascent transcripts. Associates, together with APEX1, to the negative calcium responsive element (nCaRE) B2 of the APEX2 promoter. Source: Recombinant protein corresponding to aa1-589 from human HNRNPL, fused to His-SUMO-Tag at N-terminal, expressed in E. coli. Molecular Weight: ~80.1kD AA Sequence: MSRRLLPRAEKRRRRLEQRQQPDEQRRRSGAMVKMAAAGGGGGGGRYYGGGSEGGRAPKRLKTDNAGDQHGGGGGGGGGAGAAGGGGGGENYDDPHKTPASPVVHIRGLIDGVVEADLVEALQEFGPISYVVVMPKKRQALVEFEDVLGACNAVNYAADNQIYIAGHPAFVNYSTSQKISRPGDSDDSRSVNSVLLFTILNPIYSITTDVLYTICNPCGPVQRIVIFRKNGVQAMVEFDSVQSAQRAKASLNGADIYSGCCTLKIEYAKPTRLNVFKNDQDTWDYTNPNLSGQGDPGSNPNKRQRQPPLLGDHPAEYGGPHGGYHSHYHDEGYGPPPPHYEGRRMGPPVGGHRRGPSRYGPQYGHPPPPPPPPEYGPHADSPVLMVYGLDQSKMNCDRVFNVFCLYGNVEKVKFMKSKPGAAMVEMADGYAVDRAITHLNNNFMFGQKLNVCVSKQPAIMPGQSYGLEDGSCSYKDFSESRNNRFSTPEQAAKNRIQHPSNVLHFFNAPLEVTEENFFEICDELGVKRPSSVKVFSGKSERSSSGLLEWESKSDALETLGFLNHYQMKNPNGPYPYTLKLCFSTAQHAS Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
