| Description | Recombinant Human Leptin is a single non-glycosylated polypeptide chain containing 146aa and having a molecular weight of 16kD. The sequence of the first five N-terminal amino acids was determined to be Ala-Val-Pro-Ile-Gln. Source: E. coli Molecular Weight: ~16kD Biological Activity: ED50 calculated by the Leptin-dependent stimulation of Human OB-R transfected mouse BaF3 indicator cells is 0.5-1.6ng/ml. Storage and Stability: Lyophilized powder may be stored at -20°C. Reconstitute with sterile buffer or ddH2O. Aliquot and store at -20°C. Reconstituted product is stable for 6 months at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. | ||
