| Description | Tumor necrosis factor ligand superfamily member 15, also known TNFSF15, belongs to the TNF superfamily. TNFSF15 is predominantly expressed in endothelial cells and its expression is inducible by TNFa and IL1a. TNFSF15 is an angiogenesis inhibitor of the TNF family and functions in part by directly inhibiting endothelial cell proliferation. TNFSF15 may act as an autocrine factor to induce apoptosis in endothelial cells via activation of multiple signaling pathways, including stress protein kinases and certain caspases. Source: Recombinant corresponding to aa72-251 from human TNFSF15, fused to His-tag at N-terminus expressed in E.coli. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for at least 6 months at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. | ||
