| Description | Control peptide for B2187-60F. Etk is a member of the Bruton's tyrosine kinase family. Etk is expressed in a variety of hematopoietic, epithelial and endothelial cells. It participates in multiple signal transduction pathways. Phosphorylation of tyrosine 566 by Src kinase is required for activation of Etk in vivo. In endothelial and epithelial cells, Etk is regulated by FAK through phosphorylation at tyrosine 40. Source: Synthetic peptide corresponding to aa30 from human BMX. Applications: Suitable for use in ELISA and Antibody Blocking. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 6 months at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. | ||
