Description			Control Peptide for 137996. Most mammalian cells transport glucose through a family of membrane proteins known as glucose transporters. Glut isoforms differ in their tissue expression, substrate specificity and kinetic characteristics. Glut-4 (mouse/human 509aa) is primarily expressed in muscle and adipose tissue and regulated by insulin. Source: Synthetic peptide corresponding to 12aa from mouse GLUT4. Molecular Weight: ~3kD Applications: Suitable for use in ELISA and Antibody Blocking. Not suitable for Western Blot. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: ELISA: 1ug/ml Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: Lyophilized powder may be stored at -20°C. Stable for 12 months at -20°C.
