| Description | Control Peptide for 137997. Most mammalian cells transport glucose through a family of membrane proteins known as glucose transporters. Glut isoforms differ in their tissue expression, substrate specificity and kinetic characteristics. Glut-8 (mouse 477aa) is found in adult testis and placenta. Source: Synthetic peptide corresponding to 11aa from mouse GLUT8. Applications: Suitable for use in ELISA and Antibody Blocking. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: Lyophilized powder may be stored at -20°C. Stable for 12 months at -20°C. Reconstitute with sterile dH2O. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. | ||
