| Description | HDL is the vehicle for reversed cholesterol transport and estrification. HDL serves as a scavenger for free cholesterol during intravascular catabolism of lipoproteins. HDL levels are inversely correlated with coronary disease. Density: 1.063-1.210g/ml Composition: Lipid: 55-45% Protein: 45-55% Molecular Weight: 175-360kD Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 6 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. | ||
