| Description | Description: Rat his:RAP:c-myc fusion protein Molecular Weight: 40kD (SDS gel electrophoresis). Calculated MW from sequence data of the mature protein is 38.862kD (Source: NCBI sequence viewer) Applications: Suitable for use in Immunoblot analysis and Receptor-binding studies, and as protein standard in 1D and 2D SDS gel electrophoresis. Recommended Dilutions: Note: Ligand binding to RAP is Ca2+ dependent. Lipid receptors can be released from RAP by a buffer containing 10mM EDTA. Buffers containing phosphate should be avoided for it forms precipitates with Ca2+. Storage and Stability. Lyophilized powder may be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Reconstitute to nominal volume by adding sterile dH2O and store at -70°C. Reconstituted product is stable for 12 months at -70°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. | ||
