| Description | LAIR-1 is a glycoprotein(~32kD) expressed on the surface of the majority of human peripheral blood mononuclear leukocytes including T cells , B cells, NK cells, macrophages and dendritic cells. LAIR-1 functions as an inhibitory receptor in NK cells, T cells and B cells. Lair-1 consists of a leader sequence, extracellular domain, transmembrane domain, cytoplasmic region. Description: The extracellular domain of LAIR-1(22-125aa) was overexpressed in E.coli, and purified by using conventional chromatography techniques. Recombinant LAIR-1 produced in E.Coli is a single,non-glycosylated polypeptide chain containing amino acids 105 and having a molecular mass of 11.5kD. Store, frozen at -20°C for longer periods of time. For long term storage it is recommended to add a carrier protein (0.1% HSA or BSA). Avoid multiple freeze-thaw cycles. | ||
