| Description | Human EGFR (GenBank Accession No. NM_005228), (aa 668-1210) with N terminal GST tag, expressed in a Baculovirus infected Sf9 cell expression system. Specific Activity: ~140 U/ug. One unit is defined as the amount of enzyme that will phosphorylate 1pmol of Tyr substarte per minute at pH 7.4 and 30°C. Assay Buffer: 50mM HEPES, pH 7.4, 3mM MgCl2, 3mM MnCl2, 1mM DTT, 3uM Na-orthovanadate, 0.1mM ATP, 30ug/ml Poly (Glu:Tyr) 4:1 substrate, and 2ug/ml E3375-47C Recombinant EGFR. Applications: Useful for the study of enzyme kinetics, screening inhibitors, and selectivity profiling. Recommended Dilution: Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing and store at -70°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Aliquots are stable for at least 6 months. | ||
