| Description | Recombinant protein corresponding to 53aa from human Epidermal Growth Factor expressed in E. coli Molecular Weight: ~6.2kD Biological Activity: The ED50, calculated by the dose-dependent proliferation of mouse BALB/c 3T3 cells (measured by 3H-thymidine uptake) is <0.1ng/ml corresponding to a specific activity of 1x10e7Units/mg. Storage and Stability: Lyophilized and reconstituted products are stable for 6 months after receipt at -20°C. Reconstitute with sterile ddH2O. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. | ||
