Description			Syndecan-4 is a small type I transmembrane heparan sulfate proteoglycan, involved in intracellular communication. Syndecan-4 is universally expressed and is found in virtually every cell type and has a role in focal adhesion formation, cell migration and growth factor signaling. Sequence: The extracellular domain of human syndecan-4 (aa1-145) is fused at the C-terminus to the Fc portion of human IgG1, expressed in HEK 293 cells. Molecular Weight: ~50kD (SDS-PAGE) Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 6 months after receipt at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
