Description			Control Peptide for D9016-10. The Dopamine D2 Receptor is one of the five types (D1 to D5) of receptors for dopamine. The activity of this receptor is mediated by G proteins which inhibit adenylyl cyclase. Two isoforms are reported for the D2 Dopamine Receptor, isoform 1 and isoform 2 which are expressed in the pituitary and brain; Isoform 1 is expressed seven times more than isoform 2 in the caudate nucleus. Source: Synthetic peptide corresponding to the cytoplasmic loop #3 (28aa) of the human D2 receptor (NM_000795.2). Applications: Suitable for use in ELISA and Antibody Blocking. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months.
