| Description | Receptor for the natriuretic peptide hormones, binding with similar affinities atrial natriuretic peptide NPPA/ANP, brain natriuretic peptide NPPB/BNP, and C-type natriuretic peptide NPPC/CNP. May function as a clearance receptor for NPPA, NPPB and NPPC, regulating their local concentrations and effects. May regulate diuresis, blood pressure and skeletal development. Does not have guanylate cyclase activity. Source: Recombinant protein corresponding to aa41-477 from rat Npr3, fused to His-SUMO-Tag at N-terminal, expressed in E. coli. Molecular Weight: ~64.9kD AA Sequence: EALAAQKIEVLVLLPRDDSYLFSLARVRPAIEYALRSVEGNGTGRKLLPPGTRFQVAYEDSDCGNRALFSLVDRVAAARGAKPDLILGPVCEYAAAPVARLASHWDLPMLSAGALAAGFQHKDTEYSHLTRVAPAYAKMGEMMLALFRHHHWSRAALLYSDDKLERNCYFTLEGVHEVFQEEGLHTSAYNFDETKDLDLDDIVRYIQGSERVVIMCASGDTIRRIMLAVHRHGMTSGDYAFFNIELFNSSSYGDGSWKRGDKHDFEAKQAYSSLQTVTLLRTAKPEFEKFSMEVKSSVEKQGLNEEDYVNMFVEGFHDAILLYVLALHEVLRAGYSKKDGGKIIQQTWNRTFEGIAGQVSIDANGDRYGDFSVVAMTDTEAGTQEVIGDYFGKEGRFKMRSNVKYPWGSLKLRIDETRIVEHTNSSPCKSCGLEESA Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. | ||
