Purity			Prepared from chromatographically pure avidin. Assay by immunoelectrophoresis resulted in a single precipitin arc against anti-avidin. No reaction was observed against anti-streptavidin.
Form			Supplied as a lyophilized powder in PBS, pH 7.2, 10mg/ml BSA, (IgG and Protease free) 0.01% sodium azide. Labeled with Cy2 (Cyanine 2-OSu, MW: 897D). Fluorochrome/Protein ratio: 1.4 moles Cy2/mole of Avidin (acceptable range 1-2). Absorption Wavelength: 489nm. Emission Wavelength: 505nm .

Description			Applications: Suitable for use in FLISA (Fluorescent) and Immunofluorescence.. Other applications not tested. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. For long-term storage and to avoid repeated freezing and thawing, aliquot and add glycerol (40-50%). Freeze at -20°C or colder. Aliquots are stable for at least 6 months at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
