| Description | SSu72 RNA polymerase II CTD phosphatase homolog, also known as SSu72, is a highly conserved homologue of yeast Ssu72, a CTD phosphatase and a component of the polyadenylation/termination machinery. Existing as multiple alternatively spliced isoforms, SSu72 interacts with TFIIB, Rb and DNAM-1 and functions to catalyze the dephosphorylation of target proteins, possibly playing a role in RNA processing and termination via dephosphorylation of Pol II. Source: Recombinant protein corresponding to aa1-194 of human SSu72, fused to His-tag at N-terminal expressed in E. coli. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 6 months after receipt at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. | ||
