| Description | Alpha1-Antichymotrypsin (AACT) is a serine proteinase inhibitor and minor acute phase protein with a molecular weight of ~68kD, occurring in serum at 250-500mg/L. AACT appears to inhibit chymotrypsin specifically. Applications: Suitable for use in ELISA. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: Lyophilized powder may be stored at -20°C. Stable for 12 months at -20°C. Reconstitute by adding sterile ddH2O. Reconstituted product is stable for 6 months at -20ºC. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. | ||
