Lactoferrin is known to regulate intestinal iron absorption, and to participate in the defense against bacteria. Source: Lactoferrin, from human neutrophil. Molecular Weight: ~78kD Storage and Stability: Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing and store at -70°C.
