| Description | Synthetic Thyroxine (C15H10I4NNaO4.5H2O) is conjugated to BSA. Thyroxine (also known as T4) is a major hormone secreted by the follicular cells of the thyroid gland. Thyroxine's main role is to regulate metabolic processes in the body such as heart rate, along with Triiodothyronine (T3). T4 is involved in thyroid disorders, such as hyperthyroidism and hypothyroidism. Source: Thyroxine, synthetic Applications: Suitable for use in ELISA. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: ELISA: 0.1-1ug/well Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: Lyophilized powder may be stored at -20°C. Reconstitute with sterile ddH2O. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Reconstituted product is stable for 6 months at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. | ||
