| Description | Human Sirtuin 2 (GenBank Accession No. NM_030593), amino acids 50-356 with C-terminal His tag, expressed in E.coli expression system. Specific Activity: 1.4 U/ug. One U =1 pmol/min Assay Condition: 25mM Tris/Cl, pH 8.0, 137mM NaCl, 2.7mM KCl, 1mM MgCl2 and 0.1mg/ml BSA, 20uM BPS HDAC substrate, 500uM NAD+ and 100ng/ul Sirtuin 2. Incubation Condition: 30 min at 37ºC. Applications: Useful for the study of enzyme kinetics, screening inhibitors, and selectivity profiling. Recommended Dilution: Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing and store at -70°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Aliquots are stable for at least 6 months. | ||
