| Description | Synuclein is a small, soluble protein primarily expressed in neural tissue. The synuclein family includes three known proteins: a-synuclein, b-synuclein, and g-synuclein. g-Synuclein is a synuclein protein found primarily in the peripheral nervous system (in primary sensory neurons, sympathetic neurons, and motor neurons) and retina. g-Synuclein expression in breast tumors is a marker for tumor progression. Source: Recombinant corresponding to aa1-127 from human g-synuclein, fused to N-His tag expressed in E.coli. Molecular Weight: ~16kD Storage and Stability: Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing and store at -70°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. | ||
