Description			SIGIRR acts as a negative regulator of the Toll-like and IL-1R receptor signaling pathways. Attenuates the recruitment of receptor-proximal signaling components to the TLR4 receptor, probably through an TIR-TIR domain interaction with TLR4. Sequence: Signal peptide and extracellular domain of human SIGIRR (aa1-118) are fused at the C-terminus to the Fc portion of human IgG1, expressed in HEK 293 cells. Molecular Weight: ~50kD (SDS-PAGE) Endotoxin: <0.06EU/ug (LAL test; Lonza) Storage and Stability: Lyophilized powder may be stored at -20°C. Stable for 12 months after receipt at -20°C. Reconstitute with sterile ddH2O. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Reconstituted product is stable for 6 months at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
