| Description | TRAF1, also known as TNF receptor-associated factor 1, belongs to TNF receptor superfamily. This protein and TRAF2 form a heterodimeric complex, which is required for TNF-alpha-mediated activation of MAPK8/JNK and NF-kappaB. The complex also interacts with inhibitor-of-apoptosis proteins (IAPs), and thus mediates the anti-apoptotic signals from TNF receptors. Source: Recombinant corresponding to aa266-416 of human TRAF1 6x his tagged expressed in E.coli. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing.. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for at least 6 months at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. | ||
