| Description | Adapter protein and signal transducer that links members of the tumor necrosis factor receptor family to different signaling pathways by association with the receptor Cytoplasmic domain and kinases. Mediates activation of NF-kappa-B and probably JNK. Seems to be involved in apoptosis. Plays a role in mediating activation of NF-kappa-B by EIF2AK2/PKR. Source: Recombinant protein corresponding to 1-557 from human TRAF5, fused to His-SUMO-Tag at N-terminal, expressed in E. coli. Molecular Weight: ~80.4kD AA Sequence: MAYSEEHKGMPCGFIRQNSGNSISLDFEPSIEYQFVERLEERYKCAFCHSVLHNPHQTGCGHRFCQHCILSLRELNTVPICPVDKEVIKSQEVFKDNCCKREVLNLYVYCSNAPGCNAKVILGRYQDHLQQCLFQPVQCSNEKCREPVLRKDLKEHLSASCQFRKEKCLYCKKDVVVINLQNHEENLCPEYPVFCPNNCAKIILKTEVDEHLAVCPEAEQDCPFKHYGCAVTDKRRNLQQHEHSALREHMRLVLEKNVQLEEQISDLHKSLEQKESKIQQLAETIKKLEKEFKQFAQLFGKNGSFLPNIQVFASHIDKSAWLEAQVHQLLQMVNQQQNKFDLRPLMEAVDTVKQKITLLENNDQRLAVLEEETNKHDTHINIHKAQLSKNEERFKLLEGTCYNGKLIWKVTDYKMKKREAVDGHTVSIFSQSFYTSRCGYRLCARAYLNGDGSGRGSHLSLYFVVMRGEFDSLLQWPFRQRVTLMLLDQSGKKNIMETFKPDPNSSSFKRPDGEMNIASGCPRFVAHSVLENAKNAYIKDDTLFLKVAVDLTDLEDL Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. | ||
