| Description | CITED2 is an important transcriptional cofactor involved in multiple organ development. It is a cAMP-responsive element-binding protein (CBP)/p300 interacting transcriptional modulator and a proposed negative regulator for hypoxia-inducible factor (HIF)-1a through its competitive binding with HIF-1a to CBP/p300. CITED2 is necessary for mouse fetal liver hematopoiesis and is required for the proper formation of the hyaloid vasculature and for lens morphogenesis. Recombinant CITED2 protein was expressed in E. coli. Source: Recombinant corresponding to aa1-270 of human CITED2 6x His tagged expressed in E. coli.
