| Description | POP4 is one of the protein subunits of the small nucleolar ribonucleoprotein complexes: the endoribonuclease for mitochondrial RNA processing complex and the ribonuclease P complex. POP4 is localized to the nucleus and associates directly with the RNA component of these complexes. This protein is involved in processing of precursor RNAs. Source: Recombinant protein corresponding to human POP4, fused to His-tag at N-terminal expressed in E.coli. Molecular Weight: ~27.8kD (243aa) AA Sequence: MGSSHHHHHH SSGLVPRGSH MGSMKSVIYH ALSQKEANDS DVQPSGAQRA EAFVRAFLKR STPRMSPQAR EDQLQRKAVV LEYFTRHKRK EKKKKAKGLS ARQRRELRLF DIKPEQQRYS LFLPLHELWK QYIRDLCSGL KPDTQPQMIQ AKLLKADLHG AIISVTKSKC PSYVGITGIL LQETKHIFKI ITKEDRLKVI PKLNCVFTVE TDGFISYIYG SKFQLRSSER SAKKFKAKGT IDL Enzyme Activity: Not determined. This product is recommended for use in applications that do not require a catalytically active form of the protein. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. | ||
