Description Basic leucine zipper transcriptional factor ATF-like 3, also known as BATF3, is an 127aa protein that localizes to the nucleus and contains one bZIP domain. Interacting with c-Jun, BATF3 functions as a negative regulator of AP-1-mediated transcription, specifically by heterodimerizing with c-Jun and binding to DNA response elements. Source: Recombinant corresponding to aa1-127 from human BATF3 protein, fused to His-tag at N-terminus, expressed in E.coli. Molecular Weight: ~16.9kD (150aa), confirmed by MALDI-TOF Applications: Suitable for use in SDS-PAGE. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
