| Description | KLF4, also known as Kruppel-like factor 4, is a transcription factor which acts as both an activator and repressor. This protein is expressed principally in erythroid tissues and found predominantly in gut. KLF4 is involved in the differentiation of epithelial cells and may also function in skeletal and kidney development. Source: Recombinant protein corresponding to aa11-395 from human KLF4, fused to His-tag, expressed in E.coli. Molecular Weight: ~44.2kD (422aa) Applications: Suitable for use in SDS-PAGE. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
