| Description | Paired box protein Pax-9, also known as PAX9, is a member of the paired box (PAX) family of transcription factors. Members of this gene family typically contain a paired box domain, an octapeptide, and a paired-type homeodomain. These genes play critical roles during fetal development and cancer growth. PAX9 is essential for the development of a variety of organs and skeletal elements. Source: Recombinant protein corresponding to aa1-341 from human PAX9, fused to His-tag at N-terminus, expressed in E.coli. Molecular Weight: ~38.7kD (364aa) Applications: Suitable for use in SDS-PAGE. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. | ||
