| Description | SNAPC1 is a part of the SNAPc complex required for the transcription of both RNA polymerase II and III small-nuclear RNA genes. It binds to the proximal sequence element (PSE), a non-TATA-box basal promoter element common to these 2 types of genes. Also, it recruits TBP and BRF2 to the u6 snRNA TATA box. Source: Recombinant protein corresponding to aa1-368 from human SNAPC1, fused to His-tag at N-terminus, expressed in E.coli. Molecular Weight: ~45.4kD (391aa) Applications: Suitable for use in SDS-PAGE. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. | ||
