Description TCF4, also known as immunoglobulin transcription factor 2 and transcription factor 4, is a protein acting as a transcription factor. This protein recognizes an Ephrussi-box ('E-box') binding site ('CANNTG') - a motif first identified in immunoglobulin enhancers. It is expressed predominantly in pre-B-cells, although it is found in other tissues as well. Source: Recombinant corresponding to aa1-507 from human TCF4 protein, fused to His-tag at N-terminus, expressed in E.coli. Molecular Weight: ~56.6kD (530aa) Applications: Suitable for use in SDS-PAGE. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
