| Description | This gene encodes a protein of unknown function. The protein contains a bromodomain, a sequence motif often found in transcriptional coactivators, and localizes to the nucleus in testis and several other cell types. [provided by RefSeq, Jul 2008]. Source: Recombinant protein corresponding to aa561-668 from human Bromodomain containing 1, fused to His-tag at N-terminal, expressed in E. coli. Molecular Weight: ~13.7kD Applications: Suitable for use in the study of bromodomain binding assays, screening inhibitors, and selectivity profiling. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing and store at -70°C. Aliquots are stable for 6 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. | ||
