| Description | The BRCA1Protein is and tumor suppressor and is directly involved in DNA repair. Mutations in the BRCA1 gene have been implicated in hereditary breast and ovarian cancer. Source: Recombinant corresponding to human BRCA1, aa1-1863, expressed in Baculovirus. Molecular Weight: ~205kD Storage and Stability: Lyophilized powder may be stored at -20°C. Stable for 12 months at -20°C. Reconstitute with sterile buffer or dH2O. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Reconstituted product is stable for 6 months at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. | ||
