| Description | Paired related homeobox 1, also known as PRRX1, acts as a transcriptional regulator of muscle creatine kinase (MCK) and so has a role in the establishment of diverse mesodermal muscle types. The protein binds to an A/T-rich element in the muscle creatine enhancer. Source: Recombinant protein corresponding to aa1-217 from human PRRX1, fused to His-tag at N-terminus, expressed in E.coli. Molecular Weight: ~26.9kD (241aa), confirmed by MALDI-TOF (Molecular size on SDS-PAGE will appear higher) Applications: Suitable for use in SDS-PAGE. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. | ||
