Description ZC4H2 is a member of the zinc finger domain-containing protein family. This family member has a C-terminal zinc finger domain that is characterized by four cysteine residues and two histidine residues, and it also includes a coiled-coil region. ZC4H2 has been detected as an autoantigen in hepatocellular carcinoma patients. It has been identified as a potential candidate for X-linked mental retardation. Source: Recombinant protein corresponding to aa1-224 from human ZC4H2, fused to His-tag at N-terminus, expressed in E.coli. Molecular Weight: ~28.6kD (247aa), confirmed by MALDI-TOF Applications: Suitable for use in SDS-PAGE. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
